Welcome ~ I’m Andrea, and I believe in Yoga For Real People. Please take a moment to read a bit about my yoga journey to health here.

Yoga isn’t one-size-fits-all. There’s a misconception that you have to be thin, young, and flexible to practice yoga, but the truth is that yoga meets every single person wherever they're at, regardless of shape, size, age, or ability.

Yoga is a gateway to better health and well-being at any time in life -- with amazing benefits. We all bring different histories to the yoga mat, and I empower everyone to choose for themselves how to move. I believe in a trauma-conscious approach to yoga and all of my online and in-person yoga classes are safe spaces to practice.

Andrea is committed to making the practice of yoga truly accessible to everybody—at any age and any state of health. Her practice offers a great deal to participants’ physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual selves. She is extremely talented in breaking down poses, breathing practices, meditation techniques, and yoga teachings into clearly understandable practical tools we can use every day…regardless of individual limitations or challenges. I am happy to recommend Andrea to anyone who desires to live an active, energetic, and cognitively fit life during midlife and beyond!

Yoga: I was a beginner, also a skeptic. I’ve been a massage therapist for 20 years, and mother of 6 children. My body has endured it all and it had taken a toll on it. Andrea has brought movement, laughter, relaxation and motion to a non-moving body. Her teachings and techniques made the process easy. She always gives multiple solutions to any pose. Never made me feel less than. Even found myself able to laugh and enjoy myself! I look forward to her class, and hope to make yoga an essential part of my daily life.

Coming from a K-12 and university educator background, I believe Andrea is a WONDERFUL yoga educator! She embodies a lot of characteristics needed to become an impactful educator- a solid understanding of meeting diverse learning styles and giving a balance of descriptive and personalized feedback....As someone who is newer to the yoga world, Andrea was extremely kind, helpful, and boosted my self-efficacy towards becoming a better yoga teacher.

I've always been a little intimidated by yoga, especially in any kind of group setting, so finding Andrea was kismet. I have some physical limitations but I had no trouble getting the benefit out of the modified poses she taught through her thoughtful approach to movement.
