Welcome ~ I’m Andrea, and I believe in Yoga For Real People
Yoga isn’t one-size-fits-all, and it certainly doesn’t mean you have to do a headstand or contort your body. There’s a misconception that you have to be thin, young, and flexible to practice yoga, but the REAL TRUTH is that yoga meets you wherever you’re at, regardless of shape, size, age, or ability. It's a gateway to better health and well-being at any time in your life -- with amazing benefits. It’s different for every person and I’d like to help you discover how it can improve your life.
Social Distancing Update: Beginning March 23, 2020, I will be offering live online private yoga classes through Zoom. Because most people are staying home for now, this is a way to still get personal real-time feedback without having to leave your home. Please contact me if you would like to do this, I would love to work with you!
I offer private yoga classes, either in-person (Bonney Lake vicinity in Washington State) or via Zoom. I also offer beginner yoga workshops for those new to yoga, tailored to your specific goals.
Andrea is committed to making the practice of yoga truly accessible to everybody—at any age and any state of health. Her practice offers a great deal to participants’ physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual selves.
She is extremely talented in breaking down poses, breathing practices, meditation techniques, and yoga teachings into clearly understandable practical tools we can use every day…regardless of individual limitations or challenges.
I am happy to recommend Andrea to anyone who desires to live an active, energetic, and cognitively fit life during midlife and beyond!
Octane for a the Brain author, healthy aging coach, and speaker
I've always been a little intimidated by yoga, especially in any kind of group setting, so finding Andrea was kismet. I have some physical limitations but I had no trouble getting the benefit out of the modified poses she taught through her thoughtful approach to movement.
Yoga: I was a beginner, also a skeptic. I’ve been a massage therapist for 20 years, and mother of 6 children. My body has endured it all and it had taken a toll on it.
Andrea has brought movement, laughter, relaxation and motion to a non-moving body.
Her teachings and techniques made the process easy. She always gives multiple solutions to any pose. Never made me feel less than. Even found myself able to laugh and enjoy myself! I look forward to her class, and hope to make yoga an essential part of my daily life.
